Committed and local gastronomy
Our chef works hand in hand with local producers, fishermen, vegetable growers and local distilleries, to compose menus that reflect the richness of the region: fresh fish, tropical fruits, organic and seasonal vegetables, Guadeloupe rums...
This commitment is accompanied by a clear desire to limit the use of plastic in restaurants, kitchens, and more generally throughout the establishment, in particular by eliminating individual packaging.
A place focused on the environment
At La Toubana Hotel & Spa, every gesture counts. Our establishment is mostly equipped withLED bulbs And of solar panels, thus contributing to more responsible energy consumption. Of motion detectors and timers are installed in certain areas to avoid unnecessary waste.
On the water management side, we have set up a system of rainwater harvesting. Of Signs in the room make our customers aware of good daily actions, such as the reuse of towels or the reduction of water waste.
We have also set up a selective sorting of waste (paper, glass, electrical appliances, cooking oils...) and compost our bio-waste to produce a natural fertilizer used in our green spaces. To go further, we regularly plant endemic species, thus contributing to the preservation of local biodiversity.
In the same approach, all bathrooms are equipped with refillable dispensers (shower gel, shampoo...), a more sustainable alternative to single-use home products, which reduces plastic waste while ensuring comfort and quality.
Finally, we support local ecological initiatives, in particular by participating in awareness-raising events and campaigns.
