With its 18 holes and 60 hectares, the Saint-François golf course promises unforgettable days of play. A real treat for amateurs and professionals.
Location of the Saint-François golf course
Nestled in the heart of the seaside city, the entire golf course is surrounded by coconut trees, royal palm trees and luxury Creole villas. Designed by the architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course allows for a variety of visual pleasures and game situations. Its facilities offer all the services for the comfort of players. The restaurant “Le Birdy” and the “Pro Shop” add their touches to the entertainment by making the club an attractive and lively meeting place.

Play Saint-François
Playing Saint-François requires a lot of modesty and provides a lot of fun! The golfers who have had the chance to tread some of the courses are delighted and unanimous. The first departure is at 7:10am as there are few shaded areas. The trade winds ventilate the terrain well, which therefore requires precision and creates an additional challenge in the game. Well designed, the holes are technical, varied and quite long. Number 15 is the most beautiful because it overlooks the Saint-François lagoon. Number 18 requires concentration and precision, the green being well defended by three bunkers. Allow about 4 hours and a half to cover the 5,800 meters.
Cours
Two teachers give lessons on demand on the practice or on the course, for around €25 per half hour and €50 per hour. On the practice, the equipment is loaned, you have to count 3€ for the entrance fee and 3€ for a 35-ball jump.
Competition
Every year, the teams host the Saint-François Open, an Alps Tour tournament, the first professional golf event in the French Caribbean. Golf has seen a lot of professionals from all over the world, such as Marc-Antoine Farry, Emmanuel Dussart, and Daniel Damiano or even Jean Garaialde.
