Tropical plants and flowers, multicolored birds and pink flamingos... the Deshaies Botanical Garden is a feast for us! Then, the course is perfectly equipped for pushchairs.
Discovering the Grand-Cul-de-Sac Marin Nature Reserve by boat is worth a visit. So, let's go for an exploration of the mangrove and its mangroves, but also of the seabed. This 15,000 hectare lagoon is home to a unique fauna of seabirds, fish, turtles and shells... And some fifty species of corals and more than 150 species of molluscs have been recorded in this open-air aquarium!

For days that are too hot, pushing the door to the Aquarium in Gosier is a very good option. Local ecosystems are presented in around fifty basins. The aquarium recently acquired a touch pool to learn how to touch certain species with respect, as well as advanced technologies for an interactive and fun visit to the sea. Doing your first dive is possible, especially at the Cousteau Reserve, and this... from 8 years old! A real childhood dream.
A must for kids, the Parc des Mamelles zoo. This park of 4 hectares of tropical forest where 85 animal species of the Caribbean are hosted promises jumps and cries of joy at the sight of parrots, monkeys, felines or the rhinoceros beetle, one of the largest insects in the world!
To have fun in the water, on the other hand, we can only recommend the Valombre gardens and their water slides, in Petit-Bourg.
Right next door, the Écrevisses waterfall is very easy to access. If everyone is wise: picnic and swim on the program! Alone or with others, canoeing is a fun sport to practice as a family that allows you to discover new horizons independently!

Are you looking for an unusual activity to do as a family for a birthday? How about renting an unlicensed donut-shaped boat with a built-in barbecue? Head to the Saint-François lagoon for an unusual festive outing in turquoise water.
As a mask, a snorkel and fins are enough, snorkeling is practiced in many places in Guadeloupe. Who will see the most beautiful fish? Excursion to Petite-Terre highly recommended. On the program: turtles, small lemon sharks, angelfish, barracudas, etc.
A real balancing game, the “stand-up” paddle on which you stand and move forward with a paddle. The first to fall loses! Hikes proposed starting from Vieux-Bourg, Morne-à-l'Eau.
Do you want to set sail or simply learn to sail with your friends and experience the thrills of course changes? Several sailing schools await you in the four corners of the islands of Guadeloupe. A real pirate vacation!
